Welcome to Mrs. Lee's Class

Welcome to our class! I am so glad to have you as a student and can't wait to get to know you better!
My name is Ms. Lee and I am finally coming back to Pennsylvania where I was born and raised! I graduated from Boiling Springs High School in 2006. After graduating from high school, I attended Bloomsburg University where I majored in Elementary dual Special Education with a concentration in the Education of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. After I graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2010, I went to Vanderbilt University where I received my Masters in the Education of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
I am going into my 10th year of teaching students. I previously worked for two years at Frederick County Public Schools in Winchester, as an Itinerant Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. I then worked two years at Loudoun County Public Schools as an Early Intervention Provider for 3-5 year old students. For the last 5 years I worked for Newport News Public Schools as an Itinerant Teacher for Pre-K-12th grade in over 18 schools.
I am a very proud mom of 3 kiddos who will be starting their year at South Middleton Public Schools. Go Bubblers! They keep me active between tap/ballet, baseball, being involved with church activities and playing outside, we are always on the go!
I am very thankful to have been given the opportunity to come to Mechanicsburg Public Schools where I can serve the Middle and High School students. I love giving students the skills they need to advocate for their hearing loss and building their confidence in their abilities. I want to give everyone a safe place to make mistakes, learn and grow. I am thankful that we get to do this together!
