Dear Students and Parents/Guardians, 

 

I am very excited to start another year Mechanicsburg Middle School! Previously, I taught at West Perry Middle School (2021-2022) and Boonsboro High School (2015-2021). I am very passionate about Social Studies, and I am looking forward to sharing my love of History with your student! In addition to Social Studies content I will also be teaching your student skills that will help them to be successful in my class as well as their other classes! 

 

On a more personal note, I am a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, so I am very happy to be close to home. I attended Shepherd University from my undergraduate degree in Secondary Education and Wilson College for my Master of Education degree. I married my college sweetheart in 2019, we had our first child in April 2022, and we named him Deacon. I also have a dog named Ike, he is named after my favorite president! 

 

For fun, I love to read historical fiction and non-fiction books; I enjoy spending time with my family especially my niece and nephew; and I am a fan of all board games!
