Katharine E. George-Awua, M.Ed.

8th grade School Counselor-Class of 2028

I am currently entering my 13^th year as a School Counselor and I am incredibly excited to start my eighth year with the Mechanicsburg Middle School Counseling Department as the 8^th grade counselor this year!  I graduated from Mechanicsburg High School in 2004.  I am a proud Wildcat and I am thankful to be working here.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Millersville University in 2008 and I earned my Master’s of Education in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011.

I am here to support your child and promote emotional, personal, academic and social success.  I am looking forward to working with you and your child this coming year!
