MMS Cats' Code

In our building, MMS staff employs the Cats' Code with our students in regards to expectations.  The code (something like Hammurabi's Code from Babylon of Ancient Mesopotamia) has specific items for students to consider when regulating one's behavior and decision-making.

From the first week of school, I have been emphasizing the Cats' Code with my classes. The code will be referred to frequently and consistently for everything such as tardiness to class (be respectful of yourself and others) to assignment completion (come to class prepared and be an active learner).

Each of the pages from this attachment focuses on areas in which students likely will find themselves at one point during each school day: Classroom, Bus, Cafeteria, Hallway, Bathroom, and Virtual Learning (for those possibilities if MASD buildings are closed for the day due to inclement weather, but classes with still be held online).
