Dear Mechanicsburg Middle School Families,

Greetings!  On behalf of the Mechanicsburg Middle School teachers, staff and administration, I would like to personally welcome you to a new school year.  Whether you are new to our building, or returning for another year, please be certain we are committed to sustaining a strong sense of Tradition, Pride, and Excellence at MMS.  As your building Principal, I am eager to work alongside each of you for the betterment of our students.  

As part of the middle school experience, we will continue to work toward maintaining a balance of allowing students increasing levels of autonomy while also ensuring that students are appropriately challenged instructionally each school day.  Our “whole child” approach to education will allow us to offer engaging opportunities while fostering the academic, social and emotional growth within each our students. 

Please review and update your contact information in Sapphire. This will allow us to be able to contact you in the event of an emergency.  Bi-weekly, I will be sending out important information and general updates through the Sapphire system.  I would also direct you to our middle school webpage. This is another source of information for MMS parents/guardians. 

I will be working directly with many different stakeholder groups on a daily basis.  Effective communication between home and school is a major key to the educational process.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school via email or call us at (717) 691-4560.
