Dear Sixth Grade Parents & Students,

Welcome to Sixth Grade at the Mechanicsburg Middle School. We are pleased to inform you that we will be holding a Student/Parent Visitation at the Middle School on:

Thursday, August 7th 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

4:00 PM to 5:00 PM

This is an opportunity for you to take a self-guided tour of the building.

In an effort to conserve school resources and to utilize technology, student schedules will be available through Sapphire. The Sapphire site will be ‘live’ Wednesday, August 6th at 4:30 PM. Individual student schedules will NOT be printed for distribution. We encourage students to print your class schedule (found under the “Courses & Grades” tab in the Student Backpack, make sure to have “Show Non-Graded Classes” turned on to see the entire schedule) and bring it with you to tour the building. You can locate your student’s homeroom, team, and bus information on the “Student Information” tab in the Student Backpack in Sapphire.

For those families and students who do not have internet access, you will need to contact the school office prior to August 6th so your class schedule can be provided to you.

The school building will be closed during the day to all students August 11th through August 18th.
