Sai spelled his way to the top at MMS, earning first place through both the preliminary and school spelling bees. He then competed against 220 students from across the region during the semi-finals, finishing among the top 36 spellers and securing his spot in the next round.
Next stop: Harrisburg on March 21 for the Central Pennsylvania Spelling Bee.
We couldn’t bee more proud of Sai’s hard work, focus, and determination as he represents MMS and MASD on the big stage. Good luck! We’ll all be buzzing with energy as we cheer you on.
📸 Thanks to Missy Coffman for snapping a photo of Sai for us to share.

Thank you for your patience as we work our way back to a normal school schedule.

Your long hours, teamwork, and commitment do not go unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful for all you do behind the scenes to keep our Wildcat community moving, no matter the weather. THANK YOU. 💜

Our Facilities Department and local municipalities did an amazing job today, as they worked tirelessly to clear roads, sidewalks, and parking lots throughout the district. Unfortunately, there are still a few trouble spots out there that we'll hopefully see cleared up tomorrow.
Stay safe, Wildcats!

💙 Please help us give a special shoutout to our in-house maintenance crews and all crews across our municipalities who are working tirelessly to keep our roads clear and safe.
Stay warm, dry, and safe, Wildcats!
📸 Special thanks to Music/Vocals Teacher Gordon Kaslusky for capturing this picturesque moment at Kindergarten Academy.

No planning. No texting. Just perfect, unintentional twinning. Wildcats, we love these moments. 💜

If this looks even slightly familiar, consider it your sign to check the lost and found at your child’s school for anything that might be yours. Winter gear has a way of wandering off—and we’d love to see these items make it back home where they belong.
Pro tip: a quick label can help lost items find their way back next time. 💜

A special thank you to Officer Mark, our District Resource Officer, whose steady presence and genuine care help our Wildcats feel supported and safe. From morning fist bumps and catch on the playground to lunchtime check-ins and hallway conversations, these moments matter.
Thank you to all of our law enforcement partners for being an important part of the Wildcat community. Today we celebrate you. Every day we appreciate you.

Watching our students celebrate him is the perfect reminder of the bond he’s built and the sense of belonging he brings to our Wildcat family every single day.
Here’s to 10 years of paw prints on our hearts, Carson. 💜🦴
Please help us celebrate Carson by dropping some love in the comments.

TWO-HOUR DELAY // Due to the possibility of a refreeze, all Mechanicsburg Area School District schools will be operating on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Special shoutout to our crews at MASD and the road crews in our local municipalities and PennDOT for all of their hard work in making sure roads, parking lots, and sidewalks are passable and safe for our Wildcats!

Bundled up and full of generosity, this team worked side by side to pack and distribute holiday gifts—making the season a little brighter for families across our district. We’re so grateful for the care, compassion, and community spirit that make moments like this possible.

Alex went above and beyond to inspire her students during the annual food drive — creating a fun incentive, organizing donations, and even turning her classroom into the collection hub. Thanks to her leadership and encouragement, the team brought in an amazing 1,100 food items for our community! 💜
