Hello! This is my fifth year at MMS and I look forward to working with students in my 6th, 7th and 8th grade Technology Education classes. I am also one of the Directors for the MMS Musical.

I’m originally from Montoursville, PA and I currently live in Mechanicsburg with my husband, Rob, and our three daughters, Drew, Caly, and Bryn. My husband is a 6th and 7th grade reading teacher at MMS, Drew is a student at Millersville University, Caly attends MASH and Bryn attends MMS. It’s safe to say we are proud Wildcats! Our girls keep us very busy with their activities and, as a family, we enjoy kayaking, camping, watching football, and spending time with family and friends. We also love all things Disney!

I have been in the education field since graduating from Shippensburg University with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education in 2002. I have worked in preschool, taught as an elementary classroom teacher in 2nd grade, and also taught career education at the college level. I took 10 years off to stay home with my children while simultaneously offering childcare in my home. I also work part-time for my church as a campus director of kid ministries. I returned to the classroom in 2020 as the careers secretary here at MMS. In the spring of 2022, I obtained my certification in Technology Education for grades K-12. I truly love working with the students at MASD!
