My name is Mrs. Smith, and I'm excited to share my love of science with you this year!   I have been teaching at the middle school for 20 years, and have taught both 6th and 7th grades.  

 

Outside of school, I enjoy staying busy by spending time with my family, working with the high school marching band percussion, reading, gardening and crafting.  

 

My family consists of myself, my husband (who works at the high school), and my three children (a sophomore in high school, a 6th grader and a 4th grader).  My kids are involved in a variety of performing arts activities that include band, marching band, chorus, orchestra, musicals, fall play, and multiple dance classes.  

 

In my classroom, you will find a variety of "wildlife" that includes cockroaches, hermit crabs, a crested gecko, and many plants.
