About Miss Richard
Welcome!
This will be my sixth year at Mechanicsburg Middle School. I graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2019 with a degree in Middle-Level Education and a minor in professional writing. In 2022, I earned my Master of Education degree in Teaching and Curriculum with a focus on literacy from Penn State Harrisburg. I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts degree in Youth Literature from Dominican University. At MMS, I teach 8th-grade English on the Pathfinders team!
I was born and raised in Perry County, Pennsylvania, but now reside in Mechanicsburg. I try to travel to experience new places whenever possible and I'm an avid Tom Brady fan and a Harry Potter fanatic! I'm a reader, and writer, and I spend most of my free time with friends, family, and my dog, Finley!
I'm so excited to begin this wild and magical adventure with all of you!
