Mr. Frank - Western Heritage

  • My name is Mr. Gino Vincent Frank, your 7th grade World History teacher. I am entering into my 24th year of teaching in the social studies curriculum.
  • I am originally from the Pittsburgh Area, and graduated from Bucknell University with degrees in both history and geography.
  • This will be my 21st year as a teacher of history on the Navigators team at Mechanicsburg. Before teaching at Mechanicsburg, I taught at Immaculate High School in Danbury, Connecticut and Warren County High School in Virginia.
  • In addition to teaching, I am entering into my 1st year as Head Wrestling coach at Gettysburg College after serving as an assistant wrestling coach there for 13 years.. I served as the head coach for the Pennsylvania Cadet National Greco-Roman Team who won both the 2007 & 2008 National Championships. I then coached with the Minnesota Storm Junior National Greco-Roman Team from 2009 to 2012 before landing my current coaching job with the New York Greco-Roman National Team in 2013. In 2019, I returned to the Pennsylvania National team as the head junior Greco-Roman coach.  I also created my own Greco-Roman & Freestyle wrestling club called the Modern Day Gladiators in the central Pennsylvania area and assist Mechanicsburg students with fitness programs in the MASH fitness center at 6 AM each morning during the school year.
  • My wife, Amanda, and I married in March of 2014.  We live in New Cumberland with our dog, Foxy, and our two cats, Francesca & Feebee.
